Malwa Utsav (Indore)

Held in Indore, this grand festival brings together artists, performers, and craftsmen from different parts of the country. The festival features a wide range of performances, including folk dances, classical art forms, tribal music, and traditional handicrafts.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Lok Sanskriti Manch actively contributed to programs conducted under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a nationwide initiative commemorating India’s independence. Through its participation, the organization organized cultural and awareness-based activities that highlighted the country’s heritage, history, and values.

Gudi Padwa Celebrations

Gudi Padwa celebrations organized by Lok Sanskriti Manch, often in collaboration with Sanskar Bharti and Nagar Nigam, are a major, vibrant annual event held at Indore’s historic Rajwada. Traditional processions with people in cultural attire, dhol-tasha teams, and tableaux.

Rang Panchami Gair

Organized by Lok Sanskriti Manch, the traditional Rang Panchami Gair is one of Indore’s most spectacular and historic cultural processions. The grand event features vibrant natural gulal, traditional dhol-tasha beats, and massive water cannons, drawing thousands to celebrate Malwa’s rich folk heritage.

Hartalika Teej Celebration

Lok Sanskriti Manch has been recognized for organizing Hartalika Teej celebrations at Rajwada, one of Indore’s most prominent cultural landmarks. The event was conducted with a focus on preserving traditional practices and encouraging participation from women and local communities.

Mass Birthday of Divyang Children

Lok Sanskriti Manch organized an extraordinary year-long initiative celebrating the birthdays of 366 Divyang (specially-abled) children. This unique and heartwarming program, aimed at promoting social inclusion and bringing joy to these children, was officially recognized and recorded in the World Book of Records.

Eco-Friendly Seed Ganesha Workshop

Lok Sanskriti Manch hosted a special workshop training participants to craft eco-friendly Ganesha idols using organic soil and cow dung. Embedded with Peepal and Neem seeds, these unique idols naturally grow into trees after being immersed in home gardens.

Nukkad Natak Clears Common Misconceptions About Voting

Actors from the Lok Sanskriti Manch drama group performed a high-energy street play at Vijaynagar Square to debunk common voting myths. The play tackled the “holiday culture” of urban voters and simplified the polling process, assuring citizens that voting is a quick, hassle-free responsibility.

Mera Tiranga Mera Abhimaan

Lok Sanskriti Manch actively contributed to programs conducted under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a nationwide initiative commemorating India’s independence. Collaborated on holding a 12 km long Indian flag, securing a world record.

Longest Sanjha Art Open Gallery

Lok Sanskriti Manch etched its name in history by creating the world’s longest exhibition of traditional Sanjha art, celebrating the vibrant folk heritage of Malwa. The record was officially documented by the Golden Book of World Records.
